Welcome To Old College

Old College is one of the oldest and most famous of all the University Colleges in The City. It has been standing for almost six hundred years and has seen some of the brightest and boldest characters in history pass through its illustrious courtyards.

Founded in Medieval times by a mysterious secret organisation, Old College has provided world-class education throughout the centuries. The two halves of the College are divided by The River, over which stretches the ancient and celebrated Bridge, where the footfalls of generations of students and Fellows alike still echo across the waters.

Old College is currently under the watchful eye of The Master, who leads The Fellowship and servants in constantly striving to maintain the high standards that have forever been associated with this prestigious seat of learning.

I am the Deputy Head Porter. Here in The Porters’ Lodge, my Porters and I oversee the comings and goings, the ups and downs and the ins and outs of everything and everyone at Old College. As the first female to hold the title in the entire history of Old College, I have a lot to prove to a lot of people. And none more so than our brave and fearless leader, Head Porter.

Welcome to Old College. Come in, take a look around, make yourself at home. And if anyone can work out what on earth is going on here, please do let me know…

  1. Hey, Lucy, it is ted giffin. I sent an email to your verticalrecordings email address. A friend of mine would like to interact with you concerning Ebooks. Just wanted to give you a heads up, that an email from me is on the way.

    1. Hey Ted thanks! I’m away at the moment so not keeping a close eye on emails, but will definitely reply early next week. I’ll be happy to help your friend any way I can. Big hugs, my friend!

    1. Damn it!!! That last emoji was supposed to be this: 🥰 Apologies for my malfunctioning, dysfuntioning, fingers that just wanna do their own functioning with no care in the world for social graces or heavy flirting by a Texas boy to a proper English woman. (bows in humble misfortune HOPING the Lady gives the bumbling Neanderthal another chance!)

    2. Thank you Darling. I like to think I am a sophisticated Emoji Con-of-the-sewer. 🤩

Mad because I wanted so bad to comment on your Valentine’s post!!! I wanted to thank you in a “special way” for making me one of your… Loves! 🥰

    3. I like the sound of your special way of thanking me 😉 Rest assured, my Texan love machine, you shall always have a very special place in my heart… not to mention other places… 😁😘
