   Good suggestions although maybe Michael Portillo would be better used as the Master or Dean?

      I can absolutely see Michael Portillo as The Dean, actually. He has the wardrobe down to a tea!

      Sorted 😊 I bet he would be good at it. Just tell him that the whole production relies on him being the Dean otherwise it can’t be made….I bet he’d respond in the same way as the Dean!

      You’re right – he probably would! Portillo is perfect. But that leaves us without a DCI Thompson. Perhaps Mr Portillo would like to play both roles!

      Yes, a young John Thaw was my first choice. Ian McShane isn’t posh enough and has weird hair. Oooh – maybe Shaun Evans from Endeavour?! He is sort of a younger John Thaw after all.

      I was thinking that Porter might become a key character so that BHP has someone to work with lines-wise?

      Christopher Eccleston could work. I’ve got Shaun Evans in my head now, though. Porter is a relatively minor character, so anyone over 50 with a moustache would do for him.

      It is a video of my good self sitting in front of a wall, featuring Chinese-style designs. It’s my mum’s dining room, in fact. Not much else is happening, just me chattering away. Hope this helps, my friend!
